Anglais technique

This course aims to develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in scientific and technical English by introducing them to specialized texts that build technical vocabulary, enhance comprehension of scientific processes, and strengthen the use of key grammatical structures such as cause and result, conditions, manner, comparison, and concession. It also aims to familiarize learners with essential scientific and engineering terminology through English–French terminology lists and translation tasks, while improving their ability to interpret technical documents, express scientific ideas accurately, and communicate effectively in academic or professional scientific contexts.

Technical language, often called jargon, is the specialised vocabulary used by a particular profession, industry, or group. The words and phrases used in technical language are precise and often can only be replaced by altering the meaning.

Ce cours intitulé : Anglais technique, est un cours destiné aux étudiants de 2 année License, spécialité Génie Civil, Travaux publics et Hydraulique.

Ce cours doit permettre à l'étudiant d'avoir un niveau de langue ou il pourra utiliser un document scientifique et parler de sa spécialité et filière dans un anglais du moins avec aisance et clarté.
