This course is intended for students of the 3rd year of Microbiology, Systematic of Prokaryotes (Bacteria and Archaea)(F511).  This teaching is the continuation and the deepening of the knowledge acquired in L2 (S4): E.U. of General Microbiology. It should lead to a bacteriological diagnosis of all bacteria and Archaea according to the data of the new edition of the Bergey's Manual (Vol 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15). In addition to the classical characteristics for the determination of prokaryotes, the contribution of the molecular tool on which the Bergey is based for the identification of bacteria and Archaea is of great importance.

Ce cours est destiné aux étudiants de la 3éme année Licence Microbiologie, Module systématique des procaryotes (Bactéries et Archaea)(F511).  Cet enseignement est la suite et l’approfondissement des connaissances acquises en L2 (S4) : U.E. de Microbiologie générale. Il doit aboutir a un diagnostic bactériologique de l’ensemble des bactéries et des Archaea selon les données de la nouvelle édition du Bergey’s Manual (Vol 10, 12, 13,14 et 15). En plus des caractères classiques de détermination des procaryotes, l’apport de l’outil moléculaire sur lequel se base le Bergey pour l’identification des bactéries et des Archaea est d’une grande importance.
