English for Accounting
This module is designed for third-year Accounting students and is delivered both face-to-face and online. It aims to enable students to use English effectively in specialised accounting and professional contexts.
The course develops the four language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) through the study of accounting-related texts and documents, while strengthening professional communication. Core topics include the income statement, statement of cash flows, financial ratios, taxation, auditing, internal control and business correspondence.
Assessment is based entirely on continuous evaluation (100%).
